LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—WHAS11 has obtained the police interview with a former Louisville Middle School teacher accused of having sex with her student.

We have a copy of the interview she did with police right after her arrest in a Buecel Park when she was with the student.

Jessica Boyers is no longer teaching at Highland Middle School in Louisville. She first told police that she and the student were not intimate but then went into detail about how their relationship was physical.

In the interview Boyers tells police about what she and the student were doing the night she was arrested.

She says they were just talking and when police arrived she told them that the student was 16 and she was 17.

Boyers is 25-years-old and the student is under the age of 14.

Boyers said she and her language arts student had been hanging out for a while, mostly at parks and that she was his girlfriend.

The former teacher never admitted to having sex with the student but police say they may have evidence.

Police told Boyers in the interview that the student had saved a condom.

Boyers is charged with rape and sex abuse.
