A 14-year-old girl at Bullitt Central High School has a broken nose and bruised ribs.

Her injuries are from what school officials call a "pre-meditated attack” and they say the attacker had other students record the beating on their phones.

“My nose is broke, my ribs are bruised from her sitting on top of me and everybody was video taping it,” said Kaitlyn Hall.

She was in the Bullitt Central’s cafeteria Tuesday morning when she says she was jumped by a girl she barely knows.

“Before I know it I was on my stomach and she was sitting on my back with my hands behind me just beating my head into a table,” said Hall.

The attack was caught on video, someone sent it to her sister's phone.

A friend who saw it happen called Katilyn's mom.

“She told us we needed to get to the school right away that Katie had been jumped,” said Hall’s mother.

And someone called Katie’s sister who rushed in to the school.

“She was covered in blood , her clothes were bloody, her shoes were bloody everywhere was blood and I just hugged her and cried with her.”

School officials say the attack lasted several seconds and the attacker, is a 15-year-old girl.

Students have been suspended and they may be expelled.  Criminal charges are involved.

“I don't think she should be allowed back and I think the people who videotaped it should get more than just it deleted off their phones I think they need consequences.”

Another girl who recorded the fight has been suspended for 3 days and may face more punishment.  Others who recorded it may be suspended too.

“It makes me really upset because everybody was videotaping it and nobody was helping me,” said Hall.

Officials say they erased video on some cell phones but they're worried about the other videos that are circulating.

Bullitt Central's principal is planning a school wide meeting on violence and technology.
