LOUISVILLE, Ky -- Two men competing in a weekend fishing tournament in Southern Indiana were killed when their boat capsized Saturday on Patoka Lake in Crawford County.
The men were taking part in a bow fishing tournament when the boat capsized.
Conservation officers used sonar and a dive team to find the boat, but it was too late to save the fishermen.
Investigators are still trying to piece together exactly what happened, but say the men were battling several factors including cold water temperatures.
Officials think the equipment used from the fishing trip may have weighed down the boat.
