LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- Indiana is going after the pharmacy at the center of a deadly meningitis outbreak.
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller's office has filed a 66 count complaint against New England Compounding Center saying 66 Indiana residents got sick after taking the pharmacy's steroids, which were used to treat back pain.
The complaint asks the Indiana Board of Pharmacy to impose disciplinary actions and to pay prosecuting costs.
The pharmacy's Indiana license was suspended in November.
The tainted steroids were distributed to six Indiana clinic before they were recalled.
More than 600 people nationwide got sick from steroids and 39 people were killed.
