VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- An Evansville man is facing multiple drug charges after police arrested his girlfriend on a parole violation warrant.
Forty-five-year-old Gary Wilson and 33-year-old Mindy Jo Carroll were arrested Tuesday when Indiana State Police executed an arrest warrant at a home in the 5300 block of N. Kerth Avenue in Evansville.
Carroll was wanted by police for a parole violation, but when troopers entered the home they said they found drug paraphernalia in plain view which prompted them to search the home.
During the search, police said they found small amounts of marijuana and meth, as well as two syringes and other drug paraphernalia. Police said all of the items belonged to Wilson.
The couple was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.
Carroll is facing parole violation charges and Wilson is charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of meth, possession of legend drug, possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
