SCOTTSBURG, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A former bank manager from Southern Indiana is facing some serious charges after a seven month-long investigation.
Renea D. White, 24 of Scottsburg, is accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the Centra Credit Union where she worked.
Police said White was arrested after their investigation revealed White ran multiple schemes from taking cash from the teller drawer to manipulating customers accounts. In all, police said White took more than $63,000 over a 16-day period.
White was arrested Friday after turning herself in to police. She is charged with five counts of defrauding a financial institution and five counts of theft.
