Police seek public's help to identify bank robber

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- Police have reported that a person walked into the Old National Bank at 4201 Shelbyville Road at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Friday and presented a note to an employee that demanded money.

According to the report, the man indicated he was armed.  He fled on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.

LMPD has requested the public’s assistance in tracking down the suspected bank robber.  He was identified as a white male between the ages of 50-60 years-old, 5’9” with a thin build and a gray “scruffy beard.
