Police: $160,000 worth of drugs, cash seized in Jeffersonville, Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Jeffersonville Police Department seized more than $100,000 in drugs and $66,000 in cash following the execution of a search warrant at a home on Crestview Court.

According to police, that search warrant was part of a lengthy drug investigation involving possession and distribution of synthetic Cannabinoids, or "spice."

During the execution of that search warrant in Jeffersonville, Louisville police and Jefferson County Sheriff's Office deputies searched a suspected stash house on Southwestern Parkway in Louisville.  Police said they found 20 pounds of spice, 4 pounds of marijuana and $66,000 in cash.  Police also seized 10,000 Candyman plastic capsules, which they say are used to package and sell space, a money counter and three cars.

Police said a suspect was identfied and located, but their name has not been released.
