Owner of company involved in parasailing crash praying for recovery of teens

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WHAS11) -- The owner of the company involved in a parasailing crash that seriously injured 2 teens from Indiana says he's praying for their recovery.

Jeff Jones who owns Aquatic Adventures in Panama City, Fla. says his company follows guidelines to minimize the risks of tragedies however sudden weather conditions can happen.

Sidney good of Roanoke, Ind. and Alexis Fairchild of Huntington, Ind. suffered serious injuries when the line from their parasail snapped.

Sidney Good and Alexis Fairchild both suffered severe brain trauma. Sidney also broke her neck. Both girls underwent brain surgery this week. Sidney will have surgery on her neck in the coming weeks. The teens are in a hospital in Panama City.

The 17-year-olds slammed into the side of a condominium, hit a power line and crashed into a parked car on the ground.

Florida's Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the crash.
