Meeting on ambulance concerns in Clark Co.

(WHAS 11)--The Clark County Health Department calls it a "serious health concern."

They are meeting Feb. 6 with their ambulance service to address concerns that they aren't carrying one life saving drug.

In the video above, is one of the 911 calls to Clark County EMS Asking for Ativan which is a standard seizure drug used in most ambulance services across the country.

The owner of the service who runs rural metro says they do carry the drug despite what we heard over the radio. 

 The meeting is not open to the public but we'll keep you posted.
