JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Jeffersonville is celebrating the Fourth of July early with the dedication of a new park near downtown.
Mayor Mike Moore was there to dedicate Prosperity Place as the latest investment in Southern Indiana.
It's located at the corner of East 11th Street and Main Street in Jeffersonville.
On Thursday guests got a chance to choose a flag to take home from a flag garden which was planted in honor of Fourth of July.
The park offers a walking trail and a shelter is also planned to provide cover for those riding TARC buses in that area.
