(WHAS 11)--School districts in Indiana are expecting to find out if the long awaited I-Step exam results are usable.

Test results have been delayed several months because of computer glitches that kicked thousands of student’s offline during the exam.

This causes trouble for schools that use the scores to decide which students need to be in remedial classes. Schools usually get the results in May but with classes starting this week, they're forced to place students without the information.
