BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A liquor store chain with locations across Indiana is teaming up with a state senator to help college students stay safe.

At Big Red Liquors in Bloomington, customers are getting a flyer with information about Indiana's Lifeline Law.

The law gives amnesty to anyone who calls for medical help for someone who's had too much to drink even if they're underage.

Republican Senator Jim Merritt wrote the bill.

The campaign started at Big Red Liquors' 13 locations in Bloomington, but it will expand to all Indiana stores within the next week.
