SCOTTSBURG, Ind. -- Two people have been arrested after police said they left their small child a car unattended.
According to the Indiana Sate Police, Clayton Koch and Ashley Davis were arrested Sunday night after leaving a 16-month-old child locked in a car while they went shopping at a grocery store.
Police said they left the child locked in the car because the child was asleep.
Koch and Davis allegedly left the child alone for 20 minutes.
The uninjured child was taken under the control of the Division of Family and Children in Scott County.
Koch and Davis are both charged with Neglect of a Dependent.
