SOUTHEAST, Ind. (NEWS RELEASE) —Pavement failure on northbound I-65 at the 41 mile marker requires a short term full-closure on the northbound lane while Indiana Department of Transportation personnel and contractors place barricades to reroute traffic.  The failed pavement location is within I-65’s construction zone between Scottsburg and Seymour where single-lane traffic has been pushed to the shoulder area of the roadway.

This closure began shortly after 2 p.m.  It is expected to continue until around 3:38 p.m.

INDOT officials urge northbound motorists to use U.S. Highway 31 as an alternate route.
