NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) – One of the world’s top collections of vintage fire equipment could be moving from its New Albany home.
A fundraising campaign to buy a building to house the historic Fred Conway fire collection in its current location has fallen short and officials say they may have to move it to nearby Jeffersonville.
A property owner in Clark County has offered to house the New Albany vintage Fire Museum and Education Center.
The museum features the collection of discount labels founder Fred Conway and includes equipment dating back to the 1700s.
