INDIANAPOLIS (WHAS11) -- Former Indiana secretary of state Charlie White was in court on Thursday, Aug. 15, to ask a judge to throw out his conviction on charges of theft and voter fraud.
White was convicted in 2012 and sentenced to home incarceration. He says he had ineffective counsel from his attorney and that his attorney presented no witnesses or evidence in the case.
There’s no word on when a ruling will be made. White has also filed a lawsuit against the attorney.
