FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A Southern Indiana mom is offering a reward after her 20-year-old son went missing seven days ago.

Carl Thomas Love was last seen June 11 in New Albany when his mom said a woman he worked with picked him up and was supposed to drop him off at the Healing Place in Louisville.

Carla, Love's mom, said he has struggled with drugs in the past but has never disappeared like this and the family has hire a private detective.

She said his cell phone is shut off and it is unlike Love, who goes by his middle name Thomas, to go this long without contacting his family.

Police said they believe Love is in danger.

If you know where Love is, or if you have seen him, call the Floyd County Sheriff's Office or your local police station.

The family is offering a $5,000 reward.
