NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) – Suspected serial killer William Clyde Gibson was back in a Floyd County courtroom today for the final pre-trial hearing before jury selection in his first murder trial.
Gibson is accused of killing Christine Whitis, Stephanie Kirk and Karen Hodella.
Each case will be tried separately, starting with Whitis.
Last week, the judge delayed a request by Gibson’s attorneys to delay the trial.
Jury selection is to begin next month. The jury pool is being brought in from Dearborn County, Indiana.
Gibson’s trial is set to start October 21.
