Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Getting angry behind the wheel lands one man behind bars.

It happened over the holiday weekend off I65 near Clarksville, Ind.

A Louisville couple was headed over the Kennedy Bridge when they said a semi-truck driver threatened them with a loaded gun.

Clark County Prosecutor Jeremy Mull said it started out with truck driver Lamont Cantrell, honking the horn and waving his hands.

It turned into cussing and  screaming and extreme tailgating. Mull said it escalated from there.

Cantrell allegedly pulled his loaded 9 millimeter pistol on the couple.

They pulled off the expressway and called 911.

Clarksville police and the Indiana State Police were notified and stopped Cantrell. He has been criminally charged with intimidation and pointing a handgun.
