INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- A coroner says the four victims in a weekend shooting at a southern Indiana home suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Bartholomew County Coroner Larry Fisher tells The Associated Press that the four were shot in various parts of the body and the female homeowner also was stabbed several times.
The county sheriff's department has scheduled a Tuesday news conference in Columbus about the shootings.
Authorities haven't released any information about possible motives or suspects in the shootings discovered Saturday night in the small community of Waynesville, about five miles south of Columbus.
Those found dead included 53-year-old Katheryn Burton and her boyfriend, 39-year-old Thomas Smith. Also killed were two 41-year-old Columbus men who were friends of the couple, Aaron Cross and Shawn Burton.
Police say Katheryn Burton's son discovered the shooting.
