(WHAS11)—David Camm has taken to social media again, this time leaving a message for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The message was posted on Sam Lockhart’s Facebook page. Lockhart is Camm’s uncle and one of his biggest supporters throughout the three trials.
Lockhart thanked everyone for their support including monitarilty, to help Camm start over, then posted Camm's message:
"Good Evening to all my Friends!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. For me, this entire week has been a true blessing. I've had the opportunity to spend time enjoying the company of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, friends and more importantly my brothers, sister and our Mom and Dad. We've enjoyed good food, reflected upon Thanksgivings past and our memories of Kim Brad and Jill, as we also contemplated with a joyous optimism the potential reality of holidays yet to be seen.
If I had to choose one word to best describe the one thing that has brought me the most joy over these last few days, I think that word for me would be "TOGETHER".
No more computerized operator asking someone to accept charges, no more listening to children's laughter in the background as we spoke, no more conversations about our hope for a time in the future when we would be reunited and those sad holiday phone calls wouldn't be necessary. Our hopes have become reality and I see no reason to allow our hardships past to infiltrate our thought process as we "move forward" into a new era of life. For me, my memories carry me forward with a great appreciation for the blessings I have known in the past. Kim, Brad and Jill are a part of me and I honor them by being the best person I can possibly be and by making the most of my life and by trying to have a positive effect on all those I may encounter.
So I give thanks on this Thanksgiving Day, as I recognize the gift of Freedom that a gracious God has given me. I'm thankful for steadfast family, unwavering friends and for a legal team that proved to be second to none - ever and of course an honest, sincere fact weighing jury. I'm thankful for opportunity and for potential. I am thankful for all of you who have sacrificed so much personally, professionally and financially, enabling all of us to have the opportunity to share these messages of Thanksgiving while being free to make the choice to do so.
I am a blessed man and I give pause to look skyward to The One actually responsible for seeing us all through these last 13 years and simply say "thank You", and I pray for continuous blessing and God's presence in all of our lives as we continue to be positive and "move forward" with appreciation for every opportunity we have to share each other's company, TOGETHER!
Love to All, Dave"

Camm was acquitted of murdering his wife, Kim, and two children, Jill and Brad on Oct. 24, 2013.
This isn’t the only time Camm has taken to Facebook to get messages out. On Halloween, a week after his acquittal, Lockhart also posted a Camm penned message on the Free David Camm Facebook page, thanking his supporters throughout the process.
Camm had previously been convicted twice of the murders, but both those verdicts were overturned on appeal.
The cost of the trial, which involved bringing in a special prosecutor, has continued to rise, surpassing the $2 million mark.
Kim Camm’s family is now pursuing a wrongful death suit against David Camm, in hopes of finding out the truth of what happened to their child and grandchildren.
