WAYNESVILLE, Ind. -- Authorities are scrambling to charge the man accused of killing a woman and three men in a southern Indiana home in May.

The attorney of the suspect, Samuel Sallee, told a local newspaper that there is not enough evidence to prove that he killed the four victims.

According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff, Mark Gorbett, Sallee is the prime and only suspect in the murder case. Gorbett also believe that the murders are drug related.

Sallee has been in jail in Brown County since two days after the May 11 murders on unrelated battery charges.
