INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (INDYSTAR) -- A 1-month old baby boy wearing a dark blue one-piece outfit is believed to have been abducted by a man and a woman Wednesday and is considered to be in extreme danger, according to Indianapolis police.

An Amber Alert issued by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says Delano Wilson, with black hair and brown eyes, about 16 inches long and weighing about 12 pounds, was last seen about noon in the 1400 block of Henry Street.

On Wednesday night, the baby's father, Willie Wilson, was arrested on a possession of marijuana charge, said IMPD Sgt. Kendale Adams. Police consider the drug arrest unrelated to the missing-child case, he said.

Police believe Delano was abducted by two unknown people, a man and a woman. The man is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-9-inches tall, with brown hair and wearing a black "do-rag," red T-shirt, blue jeans and red, black and blue tennis shoes.

The woman who was with him is described as Hispanic, also 24 to 30 years old, thin with long brown hair and wearing a green shirt and matching green hoop earrings.

They were last seen driving an older model but clean-looking blue 2000-2003 four-door Ford Taurus, according to the Amber Alert broadcast over police radio frequencies.

In addition, the broadcast said the man was believed to be armed with a black .380 caliber handgun.

Anyone with information about Delano Wilson or his abductors should contact IMPD at 1-888-58AMBER.
