Agreement reached between city, county regarding J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The city of Jeffersonville and the Clark County commissioners have reached an agreement about money owed to the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter.

Clark County has agreed to pay $150,000 to the shelter money that has been owed to the shelter for the past three years. Clark County has agreed to waive a $33,000 rental fee owed by Jeffersonville for using storage space in a county building.

The agreement means Clark County can continue to use the shelter.
