KNOX COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana State Police have arrested a man they said was cooking meth in a Vincennes motel room.
According to a new release, ISP troopers were assisting Vincennes Police with a meth lab investigation at the Econo Lodge and were waiting for a warrant to search a room when a vehicle pulled into the parking lot.
Police said they could smell a chemical odor coming from the car driven by 42-year-old Elias Brock. Brock was stopped and police searched his vehicle where they said they found common ingredients associated with the manufacture of meth.
Police also said they found 448 grams of meth.
Brock was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Meth over 3 grams - Class A Felony, Possession of Meth over 3 grams - Class A Felony and Possession of Precursors - Class D Felony.
He is being held on bond at the Knox County Jail.
