Hundreds of protesters rally outside Pence speech: 'Save our care'

Over 600 protesters have gathered outside the Trane Parts and Distribution Center in Jeffersontown where Vice President Mike Pence will speak today.

The rally has been organized in an effort to stand against a bill to that would repeal-and-replace the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.

Organizations involved in the protest include Indivisible Kentucky, the Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Oppression, Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, Black Lives Matter, Stand Up Sunday, Jobs With Justice and Save My Care Bus.

The repeal and replace of Obamacare has been a priority of President Donald Trump even as the GOP plan has whipped up a furor around the country, drawing fire from critics on the left, who want to preserve the law, and the right, who want total repeal.
