Indiana wildlife officials are planning on collecting 650 deer heads from hunters, all to test for bovine tuberculosis.
The testing comes after the chronic bacterial disease was found at deer farms in Franklin, Harrison and Wayne counties.
Officials say no signs have yet been found of the disease in wild deer.
Biologists are hoping to track and contain any potential spreading of the disease which is potentially dangerous for other wild animals and livestock.
