Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- The pigs arrived at the Kentucky State Fair this morning, and veterinarians are keeping a close eye on symptoms of swine flu.
No cases have been confirmed in Kentucky, but at least 138 people have the disease in Indiana.
To reduce the risk of spreading the disease, State Fair Veterinarians are inspecting every pig as it comes into the fairgrounds.
If a pig is believed to have swine flu, the animal will be quarantined and will not be shown at the fair.
