HOUSTON, Texas (WHAS11) -- Eight schools in Texas are being fined after selling fried chicken on campus for a fundraiser.

A Westbury High School booster club was raising money for their sports team.

Westbury and Bellaire High were among eight schools slapped with fines, totaling $73 thousand for violating Texas Department of Agriculture regulations.
