Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Will Louisville be the next city to ban trans fats?

A public forum on fatty foods that will make you think twice about what you eat for dinner took place Tuesday night.

On the list are fried foods and junk food filled with unhealthy trans fats that could lead to heart disease.

Some local restaurants use hydrogenated oils to fry and cook food.

The American Heart Association says artificial trans fats can lead to diabetes, heart disease and high cholesterol.

Health experts say every year 200,000 heart attacks are caused because of it.
