Flu drugs may not work as well as we thought

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Drugs that fight the flu may not work as well as the government once thought.

A new study by a nonprofit network of health practitioners, researchers and patient advocates finds Tamiflu and another influenza drug, Relenza, do not reduce the rate of serious flu complications.

They do, however, stop adult symptoms about a half day earlier compared to no treatment at all.
