ORANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The first signs of the mosquito disease called West Nile Virus are being reported in Orange county, Indiana.
State health officials say mosquitoes have tested positive for the virus. It is unusual to find the disease this early, normally it surfaces in mid-July.
West Nile can cause fever, headaches and a rash in some cases it can be fatal. 20 Indiana residents have died from the virus since 2002.
