Boy diagnosed with cystic fibrosis wins big honor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A 7-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis received a big honor Wednesday.

Luke Klausing has been crowned Kentucky’s 2014 Children’s Miracle Network Hospital champion.

Klausing and his family will represent Kosair Children’s Hospital and will serve as national spokesmen for children.

In addition to the honor, Klausing will travel to Disney World and Washington D.C.

He also received the chance to be the honorary general manager for a day at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.
