LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Every year, around 21,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer and nearly 15,000 die from it. One local organization is raising hope and awareness of the disease with their annual progressive tea party.

The Progressive Blue Hydrangea Tea Party takes place the Sunday after Thunder Over Louisville, April 21, from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door and free for survivors.
