COVINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Health officials say a northern Kentucky woman in her mid-50s has died from complications associated with the H1N1 virus, or swine flu.

The woman lived in Kenton County. The Northern Kentucky Health Department says it is the 15th death attributed to swine flu in Kentucky.

Health department officials say there have been 180 confirmed cases of swine flu in the state, but "this number may not accurately reflect the actual number of cases."

State health officials said there have also been swine flu-related deaths in Jefferson, Fayette, Caldwell, Christian, Hardin, Knox, Pulaski and Scott counties. Officials said a Caldwell County teen has been the only minor to die from the illness.
