140 people take 'Survivor's Walk' on track ahead of Oaks 140

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- An annual tradition at the Kentucky Oaks is the Survivor's Walk and this new some new survivors are making their first walk at Churchill Downs.

It's tradition to wear pink to the Oaks, which also raises awareness for breast cancer.

Survivors from all around gather at the track and take a walk, totaling 140 survivors to represent each year of the Kentucky Oaks race at Churchill Downs.
