(WHAS11) -- Man's best friend is apparently dog's best friend, too.
After being lost in the woods for weeks, two Massachusetts dogs have been reunited with their owner. The story, however, is not your average found dog story.
The two golden retrievers were leased together when they went missing and owner Penny Blackwell said she thought she would never see them again until a friend found one of the dogs, Baxter.
Blackwell said Baxter would not rest and dragged her back into the woods where she found Baxter’s brother, Bailey, trapped.
Both dogs are now back home, safe and sound.
