Filming begins for Secretariat in Lexington, extras still needed

(WHAS11) - Filming is underway in Lexington for the movie about Triple Crown winner Secretariat!

Several hundred extras are still being sought for filming that will continue Tuesday at Keeneland race track.

Thousands came out to Churchill Downs earlier this month for a casting call.

Disney Studios will also be shooting some of the movie at Churchill Downs.

If you want to be an extra, you can show up to Keeneland Tuesday before 8:00 a.m. and wear 1970's era clothing.
