LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The search for a new UofL President has not yet even started. Former President Jim Ramsey's resignation was accepted at the end of July.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Larry Benz, sent out a campus email citing a court settlement last March that requires more minority board members.
Those appointments have not been made by the Governor. The board can't make personnel decision moves until that is settled.
Benz also said executive search firms are telling UofL that several other schools are now looking for new presidents, and it's to UofL's advantage to wait a bit longer as the pool of candidates settle down.
