JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Several students organized a protest Tuesday morning at Jeffersonville High School. They're upset Jim Sexton was removed as principal.
“We jumped off academic probation...He instituted tardy policy..made it easier for us who wanted to learn to learn,”
About 20 students protested inside the lobby of the high school.
After an investigation, the former principal was put on leave and reassigned to Clark County Middle and High School.
The school district says there was a disagreement over educational philosophies with the superintendent.
Sexton is also running for the JCPS School Board in the Seventh District.
