LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The renovations are over and the Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville has reopened.
The planetarium had been closed so the projection system could be upgraded.
That upgrade means visitors will get a 360-degree visual experience while watching shows under the 55-foot dome.
The old system used only part of the dome.
Two new shows have been added: "Perfect Little Planet" and "Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity.”
The costs per show are $8 for adults, $6 for kids and seniors and free for planetarium members.
