(WHAS11) - They're old to some but bargain hunters are finding joy out of some used books.
Within an hour of opening, hundreds of people had already shown up at the 6th Annual Locust Grove used book sale.
The organization sells thousands of books and this year they say many are in the history genre.
Locust Grove says every year the event's popularity seems to grow.
“I think people have come to understand that this is a really good book sale. We have good quality books. We sort them…we add books through the sale so that if you come later in the sale, you'll still find some good bargains,” says Locust House Executive Director Carol Ely.
The used book sale continues through Sunday.
Hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
