LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Louisville Central Community Center is hoping to reach students beyond the classroom.
On Wednesday they announced eLearn Olympics.
The program provides incentives and rewards for student achievement in areas of reading and mathematics.
Officials say it will help the student reach their highest potential as academic standards become more challenging.
“During the summer as students participate in this wonderful program not only will they learn more, but they will return to school even stronger than what they left,” Donna Hargens, JCPS superintendent, said.
