GLENDALE, Ky. (NEWS RELEASE) – On Sunday, Sept. 30 at 10:05 a.m. police at Post 4 received a phone call from the East Hardin Middle School asst. principal advising that the school had been broken into and vandalized.
School staff members were able to identify, through video surveillance, one of the perpetrators as 18-year-old Christopher Blaine of Glendale. That information was provided to the investigating Trooper, Jack Baumgardner.
Baumgardner responded to the residence of Blaine where he implicated himself and two juveniles in the crimes. Blaine was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree. Charges against the juveniles are pending. Several doors and windows were destroyed causing several thousand dollars worth of damage.
The investigation is ongoing.
