LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS) -- The last day of school for Jefferson County Public School students isn't until Wednesday. However, on Friday kindergarteners at King Elementary held their closing ceremony.
The students showed how they can count from one to 100 and they demonstrated their knowledge of our Earth's geographic regions and sang a song in Spanish.
Karen Whitlock a King Elementary teacher said, “They did a great job. I liked hearing them sing. All the practice was worth it, so they did a really good job.”
The students had a large audience including parents, teachers and staff.
