(WHAS11)-- The "Kentucy" Higher Education Assistance Authority made a big mistake on a book they printed and released to all juniors in the state.

The  group printed a book intended for all juniors as a helpful guide for what they need to know for college, application assistance and financial aid help, but there was a problem on the book, the name of the state was misspelled on the spine.

The word on the spine is "Kentucy" instead of Kentucky.

Many people have taken to social media to let the KHEAA know about their misspelling, including the student press network at a Louisville high school.

The state said it would cost $70,000 to reprint the books for students to include the correct spelling on the spine, but they would deal with the backlash of the incident.
