LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Jefferson County Public School board will vote Monday on changes to the student assignment plan.
The proposed overhaul calls for doubling the number of elementary school clusters from 6 to 13.
Some say it will lead to shorter bus rides. Any changes made would not take effect until the fall of 2013.
There is still a challenge to the plan in the Kentucky Supreme Court.
The board is also expected to make parts of the first year evaluation of Superintendent Dr. Donna Hargens public.
Hargens has been on the job since August 1. In that time she has dealt with an audit of the district and lawsuits alleging bullying.
