LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – She was hired with a mission in mind.

Turn around failing Jefferson County Public Schools. Superintendent Donna Hargens signed a four year contract in 2011 and in 2012 she received a glowing review from the school board.

On Monday, June 24, Hargens' contract was up for review again and the school board gave Hargens another glowing review. The board has overwhelmingly great things to say about Hargens' policy, communication and organizational structure.

WHAS11's Karma Dickerson was at the meeting, click on the video player above.
