The community continues to react after news that several low performing Jefferson County Public Schools are being audited by the state.

Valley, Shawnee and Fern Creek High Schools along with Western and Frost Middle Schools are under the microscope by the state.

A former JCPS board member has been vocal about these schools for years and the principal from Valley High School says while their test scores might not reflect achievement, they are serving the needs of their students.

Some of the changes that could take place at the school are moving out principals and transferring teachers.
